Central Institute of Fisheries Education
Central Institute of Fisheries Education is an important Fisheries University having an illustrious heritage and has nurtured many illustrious scholars and leaders over the years. In over 50 years of being, CIFE has appeared as a center of distinction for higher education in fisheries and allied punishments. The Institute was established on 6th June 1961, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India with assistance from FAO/UNDP.
Admission Process
This university offers two programs such as M.F.Sc and Ph.D. in the field of Fisheries and Agricultural education. It also provides the PG and Doctoral Level course. Admission to Ph.D. courses is based on All India Competitive Written Examination.
