Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics
Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics, Pune, recognized in 1930 by the Servants of India Society, is the oldest research and training institute in Economics in the country. It is enthusiastic to research into the socio-economic scopes of the Indian society and carries forward the legacy of Gopal Krishna Gokhale who originated the Servants of India Society in 1905 with a view to endorse education and develop capabilities among Indians for the governance of the nation after it had attained its political independence.
Admission Procedure
Rules and Procedure for Admission to B.Sc Course
Students are requested to go through the university website www.gipe.ac.in for reading the complete details regarding course structure and eligibility criteria and syllabus of the course before submitting the admission form.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be passed 12th class with 60% marks(50% marks for ST/SC category student)
Entrance Examination.
Students looking admission to the B.Sc program must appear in Entrance Test that is held on June,9,2023 (Sunday).
The Entrance test contains 100 objective types question and the duration of the test is 2 Hour(120 Minute).
There is no negative marking scheme to attend the wrong answer.
