Mahatma Gandhi Central University is a public central university located in Motihari, Bihar. Now there are about 70 Faculty members. 18 dissimilar sections have been recognized with undergraduate courses reaching from traditional disciplines like Hindi and English to progressive courses like Management Studies and Biotechnology.
The government understood Gandhi’s forte and his dedication to causes. They themselves then set upon a group to inquire into the complaints of the plows. They invited Gandhi to serve on that group, and he agreed. The result was that within a few months the Champaran Agrarian Bill was passed. It gave great relief to the cultivators and land tenants.
