National Law University Odisha has received credit from the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 12(b) of the UGC Act, 1956, and has been getting grants under the XIIth Plan. Its degrees presented are recognized by the Bar Council of India. Admission in LLM Courses is done on the basis of Common Law Admission Test(CLAT) at National Law University. This exam is conducted at different across the country.
