Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal husbandry
- Duration of the course is 5 year and 6 Month and First 4 year and 6 months are professional and as well as 5th Year is a professional internship.
- Must be passed 12th class and obtain 50% aggregate mark with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English
- 85% of seat filled under state quota and 15% of seat filled by the Veterinary Council of India, New India.
Bachelor of Technology
- Must Clear 12th class with Mathematics, Chemistry, and English course.
- Duration of the Course is 4 Year or 8 Semester.
- A student must complete 17 year age to admit in the B.Tech Ist Year.
- Most of the seat filled by state quota using web counseling with the merit in AP EAMCET held by AP Council for Higher Education.

The establishment of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University was the conclusion of labors during the period, 1955 to 2006 to reinforce education and services in the fields of Veterinary Science, Dairy Skill and Fishery Science in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The Veterinary College at Bapatla was removed to Tirupati during December 1957. The College of Fishery Science was started at Muthukur, Nellore Dt. during 1991. The University was created by bifurcating the faculty of Veterinary Science comprising of Veterinary Science, Fishery Science and Dairy Science from Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.
